The Presidency has debunked the rumours flying around of President Buhari getting married to one of his Ministers, Ms Sadiya Farouq. According to the Presidential spokesperson, Mr Femi Adesina, "the rumour was a deceptive manoeuvre by those who fabricated the news, noting that the news was far from the truth. Social media reports had claimed that  Buhari would get married on Friday to the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Hajiya Sadiya Umar Farouq. Buhari on Friday observed the weekly two raka’at jumaat prayer at the Presidential Villa, Abuja. There was no form of wedding and there is no atom of truth. Adesina stressed.

#Kajuru #Kaduna Incessant kidnappings have become a major security challenge in Kaduna state, with the victims cutting across all ages and social status as gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have attacked the Government Technical Secondary School located at Maraban Kajuru community in Kajuru local government area of Kaduna, abducting the principal of the school. There have been series of attacks targeted at schools of recent and this this makes it the fourth in the last one month. The latest attack comes just a week after suspected kidnappers abducted six female students of Engraver’s college at Kakau Daji village in Chikun local government area of the state. Multiple sources indicate President Buhari will tie the knot with Hajia Sadiya Umar Farouq, the current Minister for Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management in the coming days. Less than a week after six students and two teachers of Kaduna Engravers school were abducted by gunmen on monday killed one person and abducted four others at Angwan Barau in Chikun local government area of the state. Report coming from the community showed that the bandits arrived in the area and shot sporadically into the air, sending panic into the minds of the residents. According to residents "one person was killed, while four persons, including the wife of the pastor of Godiya Baptist Church in the community, were taken away by the kidnappers. He gave the names of those abducted as Mrs. Jummai Ido, the wife of the Pastor of Godiya Baptist Church, Angwan Barau Udawa, Mr. Luka Auta, Mr. Sale Auta and Mr. Yakubu Audu, while Mr. Ezra Haruna was killed. #Kaduna #DailyPost
