Forget Biafra, A United Nigeria’ll Be Greater Than Europe –Onyeama Calls For Unity

Nigeria's foreign affairs minister, Georfrey Onyeama has called on Nigerians to shun any form of agitation that will foil the unity and peaceful coexistence of the nation.

According to the minister, Nigeria is a country of 378 ethnic nationalities; that means we have a huge diversity. This diversity is supposed to be our strength but it has become an albatross of a kind to us. Why can’t we manage our diversity for the good and development of our nation?

"This country is blessed. The resources – human, natural and mineral resources we have in this country, if well harnessed, and if we do things in unity, this country will be greater than all the countries of Europe put together.” he added.

The youths said El-Rufai lacked the credibility to utter such seditious statement in Yoruba land. Addressing journalists yesterday in Lagos State, the council’s president, Aremo Oladotun Hassan warned El-Rufai to desist from acts that could earn him disgrace from Yoruba nation. Again, Gunmen Abducts Four, Kills One In Chikun Area of Kaduna State.

Less than a week after six students and two teachers of Kaduna Engravers school were abducted by gunmen on monday killed one person and abducted four others at Angwan Barau in Chikun local government area of the state. Report coming from the community showed that the bandits arrived in the area and shot sporadically into the air, sending panic into the minds of the residents. According to residents "one person was killed, while four persons, including the wife of the pastor of Godiya Baptist Church in the community, were taken away by the kidnappers. He gave the names of those abducted as Mrs. Jummai Ido, the wife of the Pastor of Godiya Baptist Church, Angwan Barau Udawa, Mr. Luka Auta, Mr. Sale Auta and Mr. Yakubu Audu, while Mr. Ezra Haruna was killed. #Kaduna #DailyPost
