I'll Rather Congratulate Buhari Publicly Than Visit Him At Night -Gov Wike Slams PDP

While Some PDP leaders and members are expressing displease onto why the Rivers governor congratulated the president on his victory at the tribunal… 


Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has replied some of his party men and women on why he congratulated President Muhammadu Buhari after the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal confirmed his election. Saying; "it is better to offer public congratulations than visit the President at night".

Following a press statement signed by Simeon Nwakaudu, Special Assistant to the Rivers State Governor, Electronic Media on Thursday 12th September…
"Governor Wike, unlike some Governors of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who visit President Muhammadu Buhari at night, he made his declaration public  because  it came from the heart.

"So many PDP Govenrors go to see him in his house in the night. I have never gone and I will not go. I won't go."

"We are  the only state that the Federal Government refused to pay us our money used to execute  Federal  projects because I don't go to see him in the night and I won't go. He is not my friend, he is not doing well, but he won in court, should I say that the court did wrong, no!."

'Politics is a game of interest.  And my only interest is Rivers State . Anything that is against the interest of Rivers State,  I will  not agree.

Again, Gunmen Abducts Four, Kills One In Chikun Area of Kaduna State.

Less than a week after six students and two teachers of Kaduna Engravers school were abducted by gunmen on monday killed one person and abducted four others at Angwan Barau in Chikun local government area of the state. Report coming from the community showed that the bandits arrived in the area and shot sporadically into the air, sending panic into the minds of the residents. According to residents "one person was killed, while four persons, including the wife of the pastor of Godiya Baptist Church in the community, were taken away by the kidnappers. He gave the names of those abducted as Mrs. Jummai Ido, the wife of the Pastor of Godiya Baptist Church, Angwan Barau Udawa, Mr. Luka Auta, Mr. Sale Auta and Mr. Yakubu Audu, while Mr. Ezra Haruna was killed. #Kaduna #DailyPost
