It’s during these tough times that your mental strength will be tested. Without adequate mental strength, life’s inevitable challenges will likely fill you with self-doubt and anxiety. Interestingly, no one is immune from tough times in life; both the rulers and the ruled are sometimes thrown into dicey situations of life. Exclusive; How Kaduna Lawmaker Hired Over 30 Liaison Officers Without Salaries for 8 Months.

Image
The laborer is worth of his wages so says the Holy Bible in Luke 10:7b. The Islamic Hadith 2443 also corroborates same when it says "Give the worker his wages before his sweat dries". These are not just a spiritual sayings but also a moral obligation for all who hire or intend to hire. This is not so for aides of Hon Gabriel Har the member representing Kachia Kagarko Federal constituency in the National Assembly. The legislator who is in his mid thirties was elected under the platform of the APC to represent the two Local government in the National Assembly in the 2019 general elections. Many saw his emergence as a welcome development especially for the youth who have been relegated to the sidelines for decades by the older politicians. Since his assumption of office the Honorable's poor legislative performance has continued to raise more questions than answer especially to his critics who are of the opinion that the young legislator is not capable of providing vibra...

Image
NDDC: EXTENSION OF INTERIM MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE; MR PRESIDENT ILL ADVISED, SHOULD EXTEND INDEPENDENT FORENSIC AUDIT TO MINISTERY OF NIGER DELTA AFFAIRS - BISH JOHNSON I am dismayed by the statement credited to Mr Femi Adesina, Special Adviser to the President (Media and Publicity) that my highly respected president, Mohammadu Buhari has extended the tenure of an illegal, corrupt and discriminatory Interim Management Committee of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC). By this action, Mr President has demonstrated a complete disregard of due process by his continued support of a committee which most people from the Niger Delta and Nigeria in general believe is illegal and corrupt. Recall that few days ago, the media was awashed with allegations of corruption in the award of contracts to various companies believed to be connected to Chief Godswill Akpabio and members of his Interim Management Committee. At the root of these scandals were three companies, Osmoserve Globa...

Image
By; Dogara Unyem 17/01/2020 #iWriteWhatILike The security situation is Nigeria has so far become a major problem of terrorism in the north eastern region during the early rise of Boko Haram until this time. Recently, these security issues are present not only in the North East region, but escalated to north west, middle belt and down across the river Niger as well. The fear of insecurity escalating to the South West zone has come with several ways to protect the region from harm, one which is the creation of "Amotekun" security force. The Amotekun which is highly welcomed by the public across the Yoruba land and beyond is hereby threatened by the current administration of General Mohammed Buhari. The regional security force is tagged as "Illegal". The question by every Nigerian today is, why Amotekun is considered illegal while the Hisbah security force in Northern Nigeria legal by law ? 2023: I Do Not Need Any Maria Dogo To know Me Before Playing A Role Politically -Col Gora

Image
January 11,2020 "Hon Maria Dogo, my names are Gora Albehu Dauda. I am a retired Colonel of the Nigerian Army and a denizen of Ungwan Boro since my returning home from serving this nation on retiring. Do quickly recall the events at the PDP State Secretariat  and the nasty comment you made with regard to your not knowing me in the politics of the PDP in Chukun LGA.  If Hon Maria Dogo must know, I do not play politics at the level of the local council I do at a much higher level.  If Maria Dogo must know, I was the campaign coordinator for Muhammed Buhari in the Southern Senatorial District in the 2015 general elections. Had you cared to do a background check on who Colonel Gora Albehu Dauda  is, you would not have exposed your seeming ignorance before such an audience.  The Distinguished Senator was clear enough for even a pedestrian to comprehend when he said that quality individuals were required to reposition  the PDP preparatory to 2023 devoid...

Image
In less than 72 hours from today, delegates from the Southern Kaduna Peoples Union (SOKAPU) from various ethnic nationalities in the region, including the 36 state chapters of the Union, are billed to assemble at the Kagoro Town Hall in Kaura Local Government Area of Kaduna state on Wednesday November 27, 2019 to elect a new President. Considering the footprints of the outgoing irrepressible leadership of Barr. Solomon Kaptain Musa, the feat of getting a suitable successor remains a great challenge. It is unprecedented that throughout the duration of the outgoing leadership, it has remained unruffled and showed greater skills at combating the problems threatening our people. It is needful to stress here that despite overtures and genuine efforts by SOKAPU leadership under Barr. Musa to collaborate with the Kaduna state Government in rallying forces towards confronting issues that ail us as a people, officials of government, especially our brothers, rendered such efforts a nulli...
