Rev Supo Ayokunle, the National President of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has declared support for Vice President Yemi Osinbajo over a N90 billion allegation against him. The CAN president made this declaration while speaking during a visit to the Vice President in Abuja on Friday. Ayokunle, who spoke with reporters at the Christian Ecumenical Centre, where he met with top members of CAN declared Osinbajo innocent. The Nigerian police force in Kaduna state uncovers a building harboring over 300 young kids of ages between 5 and 15 who are said to be sexually harassed, chained and starved. In Kaduna state, the detained kids were forced to fast and that they were sexually abused, according to TVC Reports has it that they have all been moved into police custody.

A young man and co-founder of BudgIT who only criticized Buhari was recently scorned and jettisoned by his fellow youths until he resigned an appointment  with the federal government but Akpabio, an ex- PDP governor, was hailed and congratulated by same youths when he was recently appointed the Minister of Niger Delta affairs. Senator Dino Melaye and Abubakar Bukola Saraki who helped to install Buhari in 2015 are today hailed as PDP heroes but Sowore must rot in jail for publishing articles in favour of Buhari in 2015. I can go on and on with many examples. The Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice has been directed to immediately take over all outstanding investigations and other activities of the SPIP. The panel was established in August 2017 by the then Acting President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, SAN to investigate specifically mandated cases of corruption, abuse of office and similar offences by public officers. Senator Dino Melaye, aspirant in the just concluded Peoples Democratic Party primary elections in kogi state has declared that he is not leaving the PDP for any other political party, despite he lost in the just concluded gubernatorial  primary elections in the state. The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), will have their respective Heads of State and Government Extraordinary Summit, on Counter-Terrorism, in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso on Saturday 13th September, 2019. Given the growing threat of terrorism in the sub-region, the West African leaders had called for the Summit to review different initiatives taken so far, and to redefine the priority intervention areas for the containment of the worrisome attacks in the area.
